About PRT
Welcome to Prairie Repertory Theatre’s 41st season of terrific summer theatre in eastern South Dakota. Whether you are already a member of our growing summer “family,” or planning to join us for the first time, we invite you to experience the fun and enjoyment of taking part in PRT 2011.
Your 2011 PRT season truly has something for everyone. Our productions include popular musicals and plays, both old and new. Detailed information about this year’s productions may be found on this website. We select our season based on what we hope you and your family will most enjoy. We think you will be delighted with all four of this season’s offerings.
Prairie Rep is proud of our ongoing mission to provide outstanding training for our student company members and the best possible entertainment for you. We will continue to find new ways to improve your theatre-going experience. Our motto, We Belong to You!, is something we take seriously. We have resisted increasing our ticket prices for many years. However, the escalating costs of producing our season means we’ve had to slightly raise our ticket prices for the upcoming season. Even with a modest increase in our single ticket price, Prairie Repertory Theatre remains a terrific value. Season tickets remain a fantastic value with great benefits. We owe our past, present, and future success to the ongoing enthusiastic support of our extended “family” of audiences and patrons.
